Information for Authors

Welcome to the International Journal of Advanced Physics and Astronomy (IJAPA). To ensure a smooth submission and review process, please adhere to the following guidelines.

  1. Submission Checklist

Before submitting, please ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Manuscript Template.
  • All authors have been listed with their correct affiliations and ORCID iDs.
  • A completed Cover Letter, signed by all authors, is ready for upload.
  1. Manuscript Preparation
  • Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
  • Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Structure: A typical research paper should include: Title, Author(s) info, Abstract (160–250 words), Keywords (5–10), PACS numbers, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, and References.
  • Length: Research articles should generally be between 3,000 and 8,000 words, including references.
  1. Ethical Standards
  • Plagiarism: IJAPA strictly monitors originality. All submissions are screened via anti-plagiarism software. A minimum originality level of 75% is required.
  • Authorship: All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the work. AI-based tools cannot be credited as authors.
  • Conflict of Interest: Any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research must be disclosed in the Cover Letter.
  1. Figures, Tables, and Equations
  • Figures: Must be high-resolution (min. 300 dpi) and embedded in the text.
  • Tables: Must be editable (not images) and include a clear caption above the table.
  • Equations: Should be created using MathType or the MS Word Equation Editor. Each equation must be numbered consecutively.
  1. Reference Style

IJAPA follows a numerical citation system. In the text, references should be indicated by numbers in square brackets (e.g., [1]). The reference list at the end of the paper must include at least 22–25 sources where possible, including DOI links for all electronic publications.

  1. Publication Fees

There are no submission or publication fees (APCs). IJAPA is a free-to-publish, open-access journal supported by Abai KazNPU.
